What a truly superb colour combination,considering the Jaguar was ordered new in 1960!.Stunning Opalescent Blue with Navy Leather Interior and matching Deep Blue Carpets.The Jaguar was 1st registered on the 23rd of October 1961 and remained with the original owner untill 1990,the car was then taken over by the Gentlemans Son.A picture celebrating "Dads"90th Birthday standing proudly with his Jaguar accompanys the car.A hand written journal containing fuel consumption records between 1994 and 2004 confirms an anual average milage of 227 miles,used very sparingly just as his Farther had.In the Summer of 1992 the Jaguar was taken to M & A Coachworks of High Gate Road, London (the Company still operates from these premisses )the purpose was to arrange for a professional renovation.At this time M & A Coachworks were an official Jaguar Centre of Excellence,a Special Plaque mounted on the door plinth was the final touch given to this Jaguar on completion of the work.There is a small photografic record of these works.The Jaguar looks as good today as it must have when it was collected by a very proud owner some 15 years ago.To Sit inside this Jaguar is a absolute pleasure,perfect polished wood,Lovely Soft Blue Leather and a beautifull Period Derington Steering Wheel.Amongst the fabulous aray of switches and dials sits the ignition key,adorned with its original Henlys key fob.The recorded milage now stands at 17,701 miles,a more interesting Jaguar would be very difficult to replicate.
