Rover P5B Coupe.
The Rover was 1st registered on the 20th of March 1969 which makes this a very desirable early Coupe.Supplied by W.Holloway and Sons of Worcester,the Coupe is finished in Silver Birch with a Burnt Grey Roof,the Leather is a very rich Dark Brown with contrasting light carppets.The Coupe has a stack of lovely original paperwork including,Rover 3.5 litre owners maintenance books,Dealer Guide and even the Britax envolope containing the accident enquiry form ( unused ! ) the sticker set requesting the new owner fit one to the dashboard and one in the rear window.There is evidence of much expenditure over the years,including replacement Carburettors,fully reconditioned Automatic gearbox and torque converter,also full brake overhaul and many more parts which have invoices within the history file.there is also evidence of extensive Professional bodyworks carried out 20 years ago,the invoice confirms a final wax oil prior to the car being returned to the owner,such was the quality of the work the car remains magnificent today.The cost at this time was in excess of £1500 plus various new parts and panels,there is a photografic record of the work.The Coupe also has many old MOT certificates and tax discs included in the file.The recorded milage today is 71,953 miles,a full service was carried out at 71,667 miles,although the car will still be placed through the workshop prior to hand over.The Rover " works " were proud to state, " A Rover owner is no ordinary motorist,his approach to motoring is considered and selective,he is a man who wants something better ",well ,try saying that today and just wait for the complaints to arrive.When production ended in the 1970s there was no British car being built that could offer the same air of solid worth
