This beautiful original Vauxhall is finished in Oyster Grey with Casino Red Ambla upolstery, the chosen colour scheme favoured by Vauxhall to star in the 1967 Showroom Brochure. The new for 1967 De-lux sported Individual Front Seats, Deep pile carpets, Heater and a Walnut Veneer Panel to the Dash Board. This particular example is also fitted with the correct " All over stainless steel wheel trims ". Words from the Vauxhall brochure, " Even better than ever for 1967, that's the Victor 101, new elegance, crisper acceleration and excellent economy ". The Vauxhall was originally registered by K & J Motors Ltd of Widmore Road in Bromley on the 8th of March 1967, they then sold the car to Mr Dyer a Motor Engineer based in Dartford on the 16th of October of the same year. The Vauxhall remained with Mr Dyer for the next 21 years, used sparingly, when the car was sold in 1988 to Mr Hughes also a Dartford resident the car had covered just 29,000 miles. A letter from Mr Hughes confirms this along with 37 previous M.O.T,s dating back to 1970. During the fastidious ownership of Mr Hughes the car covered just 3,900 miles over yet another 21 years, mainly used for special days out and the occasional classic car show. The opportunity to own this lovely car has arisen due to an impending move abroad by the previous owner. The genuine mileage now stands at just 37,676 miles from new, included in the sale is the original Vauxhall Drivers Handbook, original Bill of Sale, Green Log Book, consecutive Blue Log Book and latest new style V5. Currently being prepared for sale and will be available in approximately 10 days time, a fresh M.O.T will be applied at the point of sale.
