The Rover was 1st registered on the 16th of May 1946 and was a very early post war build. Originally finished in Factory Black. When we previously sold the car in 2010 the new owner requested that the car could be treated to the Ivory Paint work and hand painted Coach Line which looks stunning. The car has all matching numbers, the sale includes the Buff log book and many previous MOT,s and original Handbooks. Over more recent years the Rover has had extensive mechanical overhauls which has included, Engine rebuild and conversion to use unleaded fuel, Gearbox re-build with a new clutch unit, Suspension re-build and complete brake overhaul. This is a go where you fancy 67 year old motor car, comfortable, reliable and a real treat. The Rover retains its original Dark Brown Leather Interior which looks splendid. Being finished in Black over Ivory, the combination is elegant and gives the car a great presence. The Rover formed part of a quality collection of Classic Cars. During the previous owners care the Rover has benefitted from up-grades and correct maintenance including a Rolling Road tune to optimise the cars running. Also a Brake overhaul including oil seals and the fitting of Front and Rear Seat Belts. These works being professionaly conducted by Kingsdown Garage of Faringdon ( Rover Specialists ). The Rover is one of the nicest examples you are likely to find.
