MGB Roadster, Outstanding.
The MG was built at the Abingdon Works in 1964, the specification is recorded on the Heritage Certificate. Finished in Old English White with Chrome Wire Wheels, Heater, Tonneau Cover, Ash Tray, Folding Hood, Anti Roll Bar and Wing Mirrors. The MG was originally a Personal Export to America where the car remained with One Owner in Walnut Creek for thirty years. The MG returned to the UK in June of 1996 and invoices support light professional restoration work performed by Sherwood Restorations. In February 1998 the MG was professionally converted from Left to Right Hand Drive by restoration specialists, Daleside Road Motors of Nottingham. Today the MG is presented in superb condition and has just benefitted from a unleaded cylinder head conversion. The MG is a late pull handle with the correct engine with a three synchromesh gear box and over-drive. The colour combination of Old English White with Pippin Red interior piped white is quite something and stands out from others in the market today. The MG is fitted with a Woodrim Moto-Lita Steering Wheel which looks fantastic. The MG has just been serviced and fitted with two correct 6 Volt Rubber Batteries. This is a car to be very proud of, its just a phone call away.
