According to records the Prefect was manufactured in 1949 but not registered until the 20th of February 1952, to a Gentleman Farmer living in Swansea, this is confirmed by the original Buff log book and the car retains its original Swansea registration number ( HWN258 ). The car is presented in wonderful condition in every way. Excellent paint work and chrome, the interior is quite amazing, beautiful leather seating, door cards and finished off with a fresh headling, the original Bakelite Dash Board is quite fantastic in its finish. The Prefects history is documented from new and is very interesting to read, with owners of the car each noting their various works to the car throuugh the years. In recent times the car has seen serious works and up-grades, all documented and include, Stainless Steel Fuel Tank, Stainless Steel Exhaust, New Tyres, 12 Volt system, Halogen Head Lamps, Pan Hard Link Rods, Oil Filter System, Water Pump ( these were not Factory fitted ) Electric Fuel Pump with pressure regulator, this is just part of a huge list of works, with invoices on file with a total approaching close to £10,000. I doubt you will find a more genuine well sorted example anywhere, please call for a detailed description, just arrived.
