Wolseley 6/110 MK 11 Automatic.

The B.M.C. Passport to Service Booklet confirms that the Wolseley was delivered
from the Factory to Wadhams of Southampton,in the cars ealier years it was
looked after by Sea Corner Garage of Highcliffe,Wolseley Agents. The Service
Book also confirms that the Wolseley was finished in Mist grey with Pacific Blue
Hide, the colour combination is quite superb, enhanced by the Rich Burr Walnut
fittings and wonderfull Chrome Bezel Smiths Instruments, everything works
exactly as it should including the time Clock. When the car changed hands back
in 1994 the Wolseley was purchased by a Mr Manuel Cabezas of Hornchurch, Mr
Cabezas had purchased the Wolseley with the intention of having the car restored
to a better than " New " condition. An estimate from Colne classics of
Clacton-on-Sea, Essex is included in the history file, this estimate details the
propossed restoration of the Wolseley. The Wolseley was handed over to Colne
Classics early in 1995 for work to commence, a wonderfull, before, during and
after photografic record is included in the sale, the sum of £15173,47 being the
total. It is testimony to the quality of the works that the Wolseley is still
presented in truly stunning condition with perfect shut lines, arrow straight
panels with a fantastic paint finish which has mellowed and looks amazing. I
visited www.colneclassics.com and was delighted to see that they are
to celibrate 30 years in business. The attention to detail by Mr Cabezas took
yet another turn in 1999 when he commissioned a full interior re-fit, the
invoice for these works is included in the sale, the invoice ammount is
£4187.50. Another lovely touch added by Mr Cabezas was to engage " Davis Name
Plates Company " to male a new Wolseley chrome badge at a cost of £311.50, the
invoice is also in the history file. Upon reading through the huge history file
everything that has been done to the Wolseley has always been performed by top
professional companys, there is evidence of a Gearbox overhaul, the original
Brake servo was reconditioned and tested by Norton Classic Servo,s. On the road
the Wolseley drives perfectly without fault, perfect oil pressure and water
temperature, an absolute treat. Inside the cabin you will be thrilled by the
quality of the whole interior, it must be one of the best interior designs to
come from the 60,s, individual front seats with twin centre arm rests, beautiful
facia with each switch marked and illuminated. The Wolseley retains its crossply
tyres which adds to the true 60,s driving experiance. Included in the sale is a
workshop manual, parts list, photographic record, Wolseley price list from the
60,s,B.M.C seat belt guide and a genuine Wolseley handbook. Very well known to
the Wolseley register, this car is the very best available, ready for immediate
delivery, not to be missed.
