Austin Gipsy G4 M 10 Short Wheel Base.
The Austin Gipsy Bodies were built and Trimmed by Fisher & Ludlow of Castle Bromwich, Birmingham. When finished the Final Painted Bodies were transported just five miles to Adderley Park in Birmingham for final assembley. The British Heritage Trust Factory Records Certificate confirms this Gipsy was built on the 19th of June 1964 and despatched to an Austin Dealer on the 29th of June the same year. Finished in Almond Green the Gipsy was specified with a Miles Per Hour Speedometer, Bonnet Mounted Spare Wheel and Tyre, Heater, Extra Wiper, Petrol Engine, Soft Top, Rear Compartment Seating and Six Ply Tyres. The Gipsy started life as a Farms Goods Vehicle in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Now presented in restored condition and fitted with a New Old Stock 2178cc Diesel Engine. The Gipsy now has a Fibre-Glass Hard Top painted in Old English White with a lift up Upper door and Drop down Tail Gate. The Gipsy is also equipped with a Heavy Duty Adjustable Tow kit with 7 pin electrics. Recently released from an extensive quality Private collection of Classic vehicles.
